conflict -- conflit

To understand conflict, we must understand relationship, and the understanding of relationship does not depend on memory, on habit, on what has been or what should be. It depends on choiceless awareness from moment to moment, and if we go into it deeply, we shall see that in that awareness there is no accumulative process at all. The moment there is accumulation, there is a point from which to examine, and that point is conditioned; and hence, when we regard relationship from a fixed point, there must be pain, there must be conflict.

Pour comprendre le conflit, nous devons comprendre la relation, et la compréhension de la relation ne dépend pas de la mémoire, des habitudes, de ce qui a été ou qui devrait être. Cela dépend de la conscience sans choix d'un moment au suivant, et si nous nous y plongeons profondément, nous verrons que dans cette conscience, il n'y a pas du tout de processus accumulatif. Au moment où il y a accumulation, il y a un point à partir duquel on peut inspecter, et ce point est conditionné; et de ce fait, lorsque nous considérons la relation d'un point fixe, il va y avoir obligatoirement de la souffrance, il y aura forcément conflit.
