Go beyond duality AND non-duality -- Allez au-delà de dualité ET non-dualité

You have to go beyond duality and you also have to go beyond nonduality at the same time. You have to return to duality: that is the final goal. It is like the ox-herding pictures: finally you return to the world, with a big belly and with the ox behind you. That picture, returning to the world, is the final point. So you have duality; then you discover nonduality because of duality; then you transcend both nonduality and duality because of them.

Vous devez aller au-delà de la dualité et en même temps, vous devez aussi aller au-delà de la non-dualité. Vous devez retourner à la dualité: c'est le but final. C'est comme les images du rassemblement des boeufs: à la fin, vous revenez au monde, ventripotent et les boeufs derrière vous. Cette image, le retour au monde, est le point final. Donc vous avez la dualité, puis vous découvrez la non-dualité grâce à la dualité, puis vous transcendez à la fois non-dualité et dualité grâce à eux.
