Infinite space which offers all-encompassing hospitality, dharmadhatu, is like a sphere with no division or end. It has not been made by anyone, neither by Buddhas nor ourselves. It has no beginning and no end and is without differentition. Nothing is separate from it and it is the depth and expanse of wisdom. It is free of giving and taking, allowed and not allowed, and within it everything arises free of grasping. It is great from the very beginning, pure and complete. Our own mind, our awareness, is inseparable from this great sky-like empty expanse. We are not a thing that can be grasped and we have no need to grasp.
L'espace infini qui offre une hospitalité englobant tout, le dharmadhatou, est telle une sphère sans division ou fin. Il n'a été fabriqué par personne, ni les Bouddhas ni nous-mêmes. Il n'a pas de commencement ni de fin et il est sans différentiation. Rien n'en est séparé et c'est la profondeur et le champ de la sagesse. Il est dénué de toute (action de) donner ou de prendre, d'autorisation ou d'interdit, et en son sein, tout apparaît sans aucune saisie. Il est vaste dès le tout début, pur et complet. Notre propre esprit, notre conscience, est inséparable de ce grand espace vide semblable au ciel. Nous ne sommes pas une chose qui peut être saisie et nous n'avons nul besoin de saisir.
